Privacy notice
In short: we collect your email address when you join the Ordrly beta, and use it only to tell you about Ordrly. We don’t sell it. You can ask us to stop or delete it at any time by emailing hello@getordrly.co.uk.
Who we are
Ordrly is a UK life admin service that is currently in development. This notice covers the website at getordrly.co.uk and the beta sign-up list. Ordrly is the “controller” of the personal information described here. You can contact us at hello@getordrly.co.uk.
What we collect and why
| Information | Your email address, which you give us when you join the beta. |
|---|---|
| Sign-up details | Which sign-up form you used, the web address of the page, the wording you agreed to, and, if you joined through a friend’s link, their invite code, plus a random invite code for you so you can share the page. |
| Technical data | Our form provider (see below) and our hosting provider automatically receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type when you visit the site or submit the form. |
| Why we use it | To keep you updated about the Ordrly beta and launch, and to keep a record that you agreed to hear from us. |
| Our legal basis | Your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which is also the consent required for marketing emails under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Technical data used to deliver and secure the site is processed for our legitimate interest in running a safe website. |
We do not ask for payment details, passwords or sensitive information through this site, and we do not use your email address for anything unrelated to Ordrly.
Who receives your information
- Formspree receives and stores sign-up submissions on our behalf. It is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK. Formspree publishes its own privacy policy at formspree.io.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver and protect it.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.
- Once we start sending emails we will use a mailing service to send them, and we will add it to this list before we do.
We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies or advertising trackers. When you sign up, the page saves your random invite code in your browser’s local storage so your share link stays the same. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this notice.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up details until Ordrly launches and for 12 months after, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or unsubscribe. After that we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. To do any of these, or to unsubscribe, email hello@getordrly.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
Ordrly is for adults. Please don’t sign up if you are under 18.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as Ordrly develops. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell beta members about any significant changes.
